Magpul X-22 Optic

This optic mount is great. Good instructions, lightweight, and sturdy. I mounted on the Tactical Solutions bull barrel and it fits with the fiber optic sights that some on the barrel. I hear the standard Ruger sight might need to be removed. With the red dot off you can use the regular sights with the mount in place. With the red dot on you can’t. All Magpul’s stuff is high quality and functional.

Primary Arms SLx Micro Red Dot Sight
Haven’t shot with it yet but appears to be well built and the controls are easy to manipulate. I have an astigmatism which makes the dot starburst somewhat. The brighter you set it the worse it gets. The starburst is a little worse than my Sig Sauer Romeo 4S (solar with circle dot redicle - now discontinued). I rated this four stars due to the increased starburst but the controls are easier to operate than the Sig. I was interested in this sight’s small size, lightweight, and cost (about 1/3 the price of the Sig). Great addition to my Ruger 10/22 in the Magpul backpacker stock. Perfect size for the Magpul backpacker mount.
