Amazing value for the quality

I had been wanting a good set of binos for a while, and had been impressed by the constant positive reviews that these garnered. When Optics Planet put them on sale for a ridiculously low price, I jumped at the opportunity, and couldn't be happier. These have a "just right" amount of power for almost everything I want to do, and a wide enough field of view to make things easy to find. Controls are smooth and precise, and the whole unit just reeks of quality beyond its price point. I highly reccommend.

Heavy, built like a tank, but not discrete

First, this thing is heavy. More than well built, it is over-built. Like an old Mercedes-Benz. Will last forever. But discrete it is not. Everyone stopped me to ask if I was playing a ukelele.

A real difference

For a long time, I didn't think that there was any real difference between charging handles except the size of the release, and that the extra cost of the BCM was for the name so gear whores could show off. Oh, how wrong I was. I caught one on sale for a good price, and I was very surprised! I still don't know how they do it, because it looks and feels like every other charging handle outside the rifle, but it is waaay smoother in use. Either straight back or charging from one side, it is slick and smooth, and has no resistance on the return to battery. It locks up tight with no rattling. I'm waiting for the next sale to get a couple more for my serious rifles.
