I have had multiple X-Sight units and I am still trying to find one that actually works as advertised. My latest unit is the just released X-Sight 5 LRF 5-25X and currently ATN has back in there shop now trying to figure out why it will not come on. The first X-Sight 4 unit I owned had to be replaced 3 times to get one that all the functions worked on, then the video quality was so poor you could not use the 1 shot zero feature because your couldn’t see the hole in the paper target at 100 yards. The X-Sight line is over advertised and does not meet the expectations stated in the advertisements. When you can get one that works it makes a fair day optic and a ok night vision optic. ATN releases them to the public to do the final R&D work on the units at the buyers expense. ATN does not care about you or how much of your time and money you have spent trying to get their X-Sight products to work - THEY ARE USING YOU FOR PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT!!!I have decided the X-Sight series are not a good investment at this time, Better off with one of the competitor's units.

I am a long time customer of ATN. I purchased an X-Sight Pro 4K 3-14 and was completely unhappy with the unit. I had to return the unit 3 times to get a unit that actually worked as designed. Then when I attempted to use it and sight it in as specified in the manual I could not see a 30 caliber hole in the target(at 100 yards) to zero the unit due to the poor resolution of the optic. This means the “one shot zero” is impossible and its more like 10 shots. If your building multiple profiles and storing them in the optic you will be shooting a lot of ammo to get zeros for each one. Bottom line is the 3-14 is a good 50 yard optic if you want to see detail like a hole in a target.
I worked ATN had it approved to sent me a X-Sight Pro 5X LRF – 5-25X as a replacement. (It was exactly the same cost at the 3-14 unit and related equipment I had already purchased for my 3-14 that I returned) I waited for the unit to come in to ATN then it was shipped to me.
I opened the box with the X-Sight 5K 5-25 in it and followed the instruction to the letter and installed the new X-Sight 5k. It has not been a good experience since that time. I feel like I am in the move Groundhog Day!!!!! The X-Sight 5K 5-25 will not boot up without a hard reset every time if the unit has been turned off for over 12 hours. and when it does boot up it freezes up. I have been on the phone with customer service no less that 10 time. I have exhausted option and shot another batch of expensive sub sonic ammo trying
