I started off with the Magpul BAD Lever. Loved the concept, but it was a little loose and rocked back and forth a little bit in the trigger guard area, so I wanted an all in one option to eliminate some of this. I first installed it in combination of my original trigger (CMC flat face), and there was very little room between the trigger and this bolt release. Any time I went to touch the trigger I would hit the back of my finger on this lever, not that it did anything, just a little uncomfortable. I was annoyed at how far back this sat in the trigger guard area. There is so much room it could be sat forward to avoid this. Anyway, I had to take if off to change the trigger as it covers the hammer pin. Apparently the Geiseele SD-C sits back a little further in the guard than the CMC. This opened it up and gave me plenty of room in the guard to get to the trigger without touching the release. This is a 5 start combo, but since I did have the chance to experience this lever with a less advantageous trigger I had to take a star away knowing its limitations with different trigger set ups.
Wow, what more can I say? I upgraded from a CMC 1.5 LB trigger to this. Since I like a light pull, I almost went with this SD-E, but after reading more on the two triggers I felt it was more suited for my needs. I'm happy I went with the SD-C, the second stage was a lot lighter than I expected it to be. I think if I went with the SD-E it would have been too light in general. Anyway, I managed to get it to the range the same day I installed it and keyholed my first two shots. To me, the CMC feels like a snap or break so to speak. The SD-C had a nice trigger pull to the wall, but once you have that wall you just pull past it with ease. Its weird, I don't feel a break so to speak, but I know exactly where it will break. Pull, wall, smooth shot. It feels amazing, and really lets you know when you will take your shot. Having that G on the trigger aint bad either :)
