Plastic version fits my ultra short handguard but feels very cheap and like it was 3D printed in someone's garage. Definitely not worth the money

This is the buffer you want for an ar9 build to minimize risk of out of battery detonation. Visit blowback9's website and his Reddit posts in ar9 for more information.
Seems like a solid very high quality buffer and I feel much better about the risk of oob using this buffer versus a heavy buffer without sliding weights that is likely to result in bolt bounce

Review for

It's a great upper. Ran flawlessly with zero failure to feed, failure to eject etc in first couple hundred rounds.
Listing says the muzzle threads are one half by 36 which is actually incorrect as I bought a 1/2 by 36 tri-lug which would not thread on. Tried one half by 28 and it went on right away with no resistance.
Correct thread pitch is 1/2 by 28. Docking two stars because of that as I had everything I thought I needed on build day and did not because of this error
