Great training aid

These are very helpful to let you know why your shot placement is off. Even the pasters are splatter / splash so if you hit the exact same spot it will show. Took my son to the range the other day and these were very helpful to help teach him all the things that go wrong when shooting a powerful handgun. After he got over anticipating the recoil from my .40, he was nailing bulls and right around the orange center with regularity. I highly recommend even for seasoned shooters to help stay on top of their skills.

This is a really easy setup for AR based platform scope attachment. If you follow the directions...basically just calibrate the levels with each other, you should be able to get your scope leveled in just a few mins. Just remember to barely loosen the set screws when calibrating and DO NOT tighten them beyond finger tight or you might ruin the vial. It is so easy, it's Lieutenant proof (those with Army backgrounds know what this means).

Don't make the mistake I made! When reading the description of " JE Machine Tech AR Ammunition Shell Catcher w/QD Feature, Black, TS-SC3B , MPN: TS-SC3B , UPC: 811577033489 , Code: 3HH-WS-SCARAT-TS-SC3B ", I thought that it was like other brass catchers that attach to the TOP pic rail. It doesn't, it attaches to a side pic rail so you either have to have a quad rail or m-loc space to attach a side rail section to even attach this to your upper, which means spending even more money. And don't be fooled by the "QD" part of the description either...anything that requires a tool to attach or detach is NOT a QD device! This is either on or off your upper, there is nothing quick about the attachment or detachment at all. The ones with a velcro strap are quicker and easier. I would not recommend this version at all.

The Vortex OPMOD Cantilever Mount is the perfect mount for any AR platform, positioning the scope of your choice precisely where it needs to be. The 4 mounting bolts provide more stability than other brands and models that only use 2. I like the fact that it is available in FDE and the color is almost exactly the same shade as my MOE furniture on my AR. Perfect if you are going to paint your weapon in any camo pattern.
