Right out of the box I could tell this was a noticeable upgrade from the trusty old Crossfire II. I won't pretend that it is some kind of game changer but for the price it is doing a heck of a good job covering the basic function of a budget scope. The fish-eye at 3x is almost completely gone, and the off center blurring at 9x has been improved a lot. The amount of scope bezel that you see around your field of view has been reduced, and at 9x is very thin. The turrets, for when you do use them feel better and have a nicer tactile click.
With the included rings you are getting a lot for the money spent. So if you had been looking at the crossfire, skip it and get this instead.
I bought it because it was on sale for Christmas and I am thoroughly pleased. My Savage 110 short action for perectly it feels rock solid and provides enough forward rail for my bipod. It also doesn't seem to weight any more than the aluminum beaded factory stock. I did swap the pistol grip for something with a bit more trigger reach. The factory one pit my finger too close to the trigger.
I bought these binoculars to replace an aging set of Nikon Sporter I 10x36's. The image quality and brightness is noticeably superior. To be honest they are basically better in every aspect. I was hesitant to shell out the money but now that I have them it can say that it was totally worth the $135. I like the metal construction and over molded texture quiet a bit as well.
I own three of these triggers and the most recent one has seen a slight change. First the fit and finish of the product has improved visibly. The other change has to do with the feel of the trigger. Previous examples had a very flat face from edge to edge and a square 90 degree edge. I liked this because it provided a very consistent feel for placement of my finger. The new trigger has a slight bevel at edge of the trigger and the edge is much softer. The overall function of the trigger is excellent on all three, but the new one just has a different feel. With gloves on they all feel the same.
