Too Low for a Pistol with Reflex Sight
Written on Jan 26, 2019
These are OK for use with a suppressor only, but Too Low for a Pistol with Reflex Sight. Go with Dawson Precision for the latter...................................................................................

Too Low for Glock 19 MOS w Romeo 1
Written on Jan 26, 2019
I have used these before and like them, but they are Too Low for a Glock 19 MOS with Sig Romeo 1 on adapter plate. I can barely see the top edge of the front dot above the back end of the reflex sight. The adapter plate is aftermarket, but it is thinner than the factory Glock adapter plates, so my comments apply to other reflex sights except maybe a thin one like the Trijicon RMR. Custom sights like Dawson Precision (great company) may be required; I have those on a Glock 34 MOS with Vortex Venom and they are great, but cost a little more.

Not Quick Detach
Written on Nov 23, 2017
Mount uses torx fasteners, so it mounts very securely, but is definitely attached semi-permanently and cannot be removed without considerable effort. Otherwise is sturdy and well finished, so if quick removal is not important, then it is OK.

Great Scope, but Mount Needs Improvement
Written on Nov 13, 2017
Review for
Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8x24mm Rifle Scope
I am well satisfied with the scope (5 Stars), but the Vortex Cantilever mount for it needs improvement. I should note that it was Free, so I probably should not criticize. However, the mount is heavy duty and good quality, but the fasteners are recessed Torx screws, so it is essentially permanently mounted when installed. There is no way to change the fasteners to some that are even a stretch toward being Quick Disconnect. For some applications this may be fine, but not mine.

SS Romeo 5 Reddot
Written on Aug 04, 2017
Excellent sight with clear glass and sharp dot. Relatively small, so fits well with small weapons. Mine is mounted on a Glock M22 40 S&W in a Roni stock.
Additional characters to make 200 minimum.............

Good Magnifier Mount
Written on Feb 22, 2016
Mount is solid and does not wobble. QD works fine. This mount flips to the side by pushing the magnifier forward, then flipping. My magnifier is rubberized on the exterior, so it drags on the rubber when pushed forward. Still works, though. Much better than another well known Chinese brand that wobbles severely.

Great Monocular for Price
Written on Jan 15, 2016
This is a great monocular for the price. I also own a PVS-14 3A which is obviously better, but it also cost 3X as much. Unless you plan to use a NV monocular a lot so that long tube life is important or to save your life, this one works fine.
I agree with others that the MUM-type mounting flanges are a pain in the neck and require more expensive mounts. I adapted one of the flanges to use another brand weapon mount that uses Aimpoint Twist Mount bases, but found that, because of the large mounting screw underneath it, it must be elevated an additional 1/2" to clear a fairly flat rear BUIS.

AR-15 Rear Sight
Written on Apr 19, 2015
Sight installed easily, fit properly. and works fine.
However, compared to similar products, I prefer the rear sights with 4 dots.
This is all I have to say about this product, so I cannot make it 200 characters long.
