The fit and finish of the mount is very good. It held my scope great all day with no problems. Vortex has the VIP warranty which is a plus. Definitely would recommend this mount to anyone else with any optic.

This offset scope mount is top quality from Vortex. I have it on my AR holding a 1-8x24mm Strike Eagle. I did install it in the reverse direction to get my scope back further back for target. It looks so cool looking

Mount uses torx fasteners, so it mounts very securely, but is definitely attached semi-permanently and cannot be removed without considerable effort. Otherwise is sturdy and well finished, so if quick removal is not important, then it is OK.

Sturdy and well built. This mount puts your scope at the perfect height on an AR. Allen wrench is included for mounting to your firearm .this mount is for the 30 mm scope tubes. The price is in line with comparable mounts.

Vortex Cantilever Rifle Scope 30mm Ring Mount allows you to equip and properly use a rifle scope on your AR-15 flat top rifle. These Vortex ring mounts feature a two to three-inch offset orientation, which allows you to install your telescopic sight in a forward location. With its offset position, you can maintain the correct head placement and eye relief when looking through the rifle scope, impossible on the AR-15 with a straight mount. The Vortex Cantilevered AR-15 Scope Ring Mount is a one-piece construction that includes the Rifle Scope mount and two integrated rings with a 30mm diameter, capable of accepting a wide range of scopes. Vortex Optics has built the offset mount out of tough aluminum, and its light weight won't hinder the accuracy of your AR15.
