I used this for over a year and had not much more than heartache using it. There are 4 screws that mount the bottom plate to the plate that you mount the rings to. Even with ample amounts of blue thread lock the screws kept backing out. Originally used it between .300 Blackout and .30-06 which held for a while, but then I mounted it to a .450 Bushmaster everything got worse. I reached out to Kinetic Development Group and this is what I got as a reply "Very sorry for the issues you are having. The mount is coming loose as it really was not designed to be a QD mount for shooting with rounds as big as .450. Its designed no problem for .308 and other smaller carbine cartridges.". So I gave it 2 stars solely based on its aesthetics and if you were to use it on a smaller caliber I guess it may work, who knows. Kinetic Development Group doesn't have anything listed on their product documentation stating this is for a .308 and under and doesn't appear to stand behind their product other than saying "Very sorry" I couldn't recommend to anyone to invest their money in this product.
