Like that it uses AAA batteries
Written on Oct 31, 2018
This little package is GREAT! And the fact that it uses 1 AAA battery makes it so convenient and fairly cheap to use. I like the power the CR123 batteries and the like put out, but its expensive and sometimes tough to find those batteries. AA's and AAA's I can find at any convenience store and the name brand batteries have a 10 year shelflife. As far as I am concerned, that puts this light / laser combo my 1st choice. I like the easy to activate paddle buttons and the ability to choose the combo i need with a few taps of the paddles. I am giving it 4 stars because of the light it puts out. It has an almost a light Christmas green tint to it. Weird but i can live with it.

Great hunting package

There are alot of things to like about this package and a few things I don't care for. First, the range finder is amazing and the absolute best bang for your buck as far as range finders go. Its pretty easy to use and along with the app for your phone it can do alot more than probably most shooters. Linking / Bonding these is not too difficult but takes a bit of using to fully understand what your doing. Just poking buttons isn't going to get you where your trying to go. Play with it. You'll get it. I like how fast that the range finder sends info to the scope for me to make my shot. It almost feels like cheating because its so easy and reliable when it comes to putting your bullet on target at anything up to but NOT past 800 yards.
I dont want to say "What I dont like". I'll say, "what I would like to see different is, I want the ability to go past 800 yards. Or be limited by bullet energy. Since i hunt with a 338 Lapua, I have more than enough to go past 800 yards. Another thing to consider is that Im NOT always hunting. Most of the time im banging on steel at my local gun range. 800 yards gets me to about 75% of my available targets. The AB/Sig app is great but its like putting a throttle limiter limiting you to 65 mph on a corvette. Yes, I can buy a Kestrel but that's just one more "thing" i have to bring, drop, break, loose, worry about and have spare batteries for. As for now, I use the rangefinder along with my Strelok Pro app on my phone to go out past 800 BUT not w

Great for my KSG-25

Review for
Magpul RVG Rail Vertical Grip
This grip makes cycling my KSG-25 easy and alot more fun. I bought another one for my AR and it changes the whole feel when it comes to handling the rifle. My hand is in more of a natural position making it more comfortable and stabilizing the rifle during long days at the range
