Buff Buffington from United States, OR Public Profile
And it probabaly won't fit most handguards on the market. Unless it's a quad rail type or fat tubular carbon fiber handguard. Like another customer said the bottom half is too big. Gonna sell this and buy a VLTOR or Daniel Defense low profile clamp-on gas block.
These gas tubes have a taper and larger diameter than other gas tubes. Will NOT fit the gas tube hole in Aero M5 upper receivers. You could drill out the hole so it fits but when you go to use normal gas tubes they will rattle around and not align with the gas key. If you try to install one of these in an Aero M5 you will scratch up your barrel & gas tube in the process.
Won't fit a PA-10 or M5. It might fit an Aero M5 if you file n' sand in a couple spots. We'll see but it won't fit these 2 out of the box. Other than that it's machined well and is a solid chunk of billet steel n' should hold up to alot of abuse.
This is too short and doesn't make contact with the bolt face for the bolt hold open feature. Don't over-tighten the bolt catch pin or it will strip out. Aero's cheap bolt catch pin is a soft chinesium POS. You'll have to go buy a stripped bolt kit and good luck with that. It sits up too close to the receiver and is difficult to remove.
Nothing wrong with the V-Seven S7 Bolt Catch. Aero saved money on an important LIFE SAVING gun part that WILL FAIL when you need it to perform.
Great company, highly recommended. My Oops Kit was missing a part, after contacting them they quickly mailed me the new part. I believe in supporting companies that provide customer service. So I plan on buying one of their uppers soon because I know if there are any problems they will be there for me.
This is a high quality buffer with a great finish. The staked roll pin and the steel body make the old aluminum design obsolete. Fluting will reduce friction and keep it moving if dirt or water gets in the stock. Highly recommended.
These buffers have a spray paint type paint finish that chips off easily. The paint chips off easily so I'll probably remove all the paint to prevent buildup inside the buffer tube. The paint could end up causing reliability problems.

Theese buffers have a spray paint type paint finish that chips off easily. It seems solid with no moving internal weights. I'm thinking about removing all the paint to prevent buildup inside the buffer tube. The paint could end up causing reliability problems. Not recommended.
