Trijicon ACOG Quality

Received the ACOG and immediately noticed the LED was not working. My first assumption was the included battery was the problem, unfortunately not the case. Tried new battery and still no LED. The reason I purchased the LED ACOG because of my old eyes. I purchased an VORTEX Strike Eagle LED scope for less than 1/4 the cost of the ACOG. I've had ZERO issues with the VORTEX and frankly a very nice scope for the money.

I called Trijicon to make sure that I was not doing anything wrong. Not the case the LED is not working as designed. After calling Trijicon, receiving the RMA and carrying scope to a UPS location to process the prepaid shipping I had about 2 1/2 hours of my own time in the return of this ACOG scope. On the return paper work it states three to four weeks for repair. Trijicon customer service was great and responsive. I struggle with how the LED ACOG went through Trijicon quality control and the LED not work? After further inspection I notice allen head bolts were starting to rust, small scratches and the scope appeared to have been mounted once before. Overall I'm not happy with the Trijicon purchase.

Optics planet Customer Service apologized for the issue with the Trigicon Scope and offer to get in involved if needed.

I will update this review when I get the scope back from Trijicon. I rated it so low because of Trijicon's quality control for the LED not working on their LED scope upon arrival. Hopefully the repair service will make this right and quickly.
