I really love this product although I do not have a bench or progressive press. Did not want to start with the 150/500 dollar option so I got one of these. You will still be spending a bunch of money on brass prep, powder scale, dies for each caliber, and the ammo materials. I believe I will start saving money after a year or two of shooting, but it is very satisfying to make your own ammo.
Good start for reloading 223 / rifle rounds, as it's a better place to store rounds and brass than a bag. Easy to see how many rounds are left in a box like this. Storing the rounds tip up will allow you to see what rounds are green tip, defensive, etc. I have no idea why 5.56 rounds come in 20 round boxes when the freaking magazine holds 30. Just put them in this and you will be much more prepared at the range than fumbling around with opening cardboard boxes.
I haven't tried all of the cleaning options available but this is way better than most ive tried. Id say this is more of a lubricant but it works pretty well as a cleaner also. Kind of like a light syrup, it runs a bit but keeps on the parts very well. Not as bad of a smell as the other brands.
Overall I really like the look and price of these. Four options is great to fit your own needs. My only problem is they require a file set to get the tolerance right with my non-oem Glock 19 slide. The front post should really be about 1/8" shorter, it even recommends you file this down to fit your slide in the manual. The rear dovetail required quite a bit of fitting until I finally broke down and bought a rear sight post tool. Once it was in place I really like the suppressor height sights, they are easy to pick up right away and I can see them over my Holosun 507C. Great option if you do not need tritium, but I would consider spending some of that saved money at a gunsmith to install them.
Love optics planet but I have to give these three stars. They don't fit my head that great and some sound leaks, on top of the just okay 22db protection. I'd recommend spending 15 more dollars on a pair of walkers or impact sport pros.
Used this in a P80 build and first time shooting ran into things associated with the spring being too heavy. Doesn't lock back on last round, failure to feed. Might just need to work it in, but it is very heavy duty. First 100 rounds were rough though and im going to try a 13lb spring or try to find an adjustable kit.
Managed to sneak on into the military base unnoticed, the kit actually works. They are doing some crazy stuff down there but to figure it out you have to buy the kit too. Helmet and body armor were able to absorb multiple 5.56 rounds no problem. Recommended for operators and expecting mothers.
