Its a Charging Handle Alright

So Far So Good. I needed a charging handle and this one was on sale. So I bought it. It does the job. One day I'm going to get me a fancy charging handle like a Radian Raptor or Aero Breach but for now I stick with this one. Its just fine
I Hope I Didn't Destroy My Lower

Swapped out the trigger in my AR lower. The pistol grip was a basic A2, which was fine but my lower parts kit included a Magpul grip. Something told me to just use the screw and washer that was on it but I used to Magpul screw and it was a mistake. It stripped the screw hole I cannot get the thing to tighten up the grip. I will NEVER use that big screw again. Screw and star wash lock for life.

Review for
UTG Pro AR15 Mid Length Drop-in Quad Rail
I wanted a quad rail for my AR15. It works for what it is. I was able to add many of my accessories. It took a while for me to figure out how to snap on the rail covers, I am not slow don't yell at me. I however swapped it out for a Magpul Mlok handguard and Wow what a difference in weight. Who would have thought?
I Finally Found One That Fits/Works

Picked up a budget Charles Daly 1911 that only came with one 8 round mag. I've tried two different mags. None worked. A Colt and Wilson combat both with the 8 round mag at reasonable prices. But had to return them they would not fit. Before you yell at me they WERE government model mags. I got scared that the budget 1911 screwed me. I ordered this one hoping it would work and it did. Plus I prefer the flush 7 round magazine look so its a win win. The only down side is you have to push the mag release to put the it in. I love the 1911 but I am not ready to pay used car price for one yet.

What Recoil

Wow! This MFT Minimalist stock was not on my list until I saw it on a couple of videos on Youtube. I decided to give it a try and was very well surprised. 5.56/.223 recoil is not bad but with this stock the recoil is none existent. It felt like I was shooting 22lr. I will buy this stock again.
