I installed this front sight post on a set of Troy Industries BattleSight, Rear Folding Sight, Di-Optic Aperture; Front Tactical w/M4 Style Housing. Diamond peep with white tick marks at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o’clock. M4, M14, M1 Garand, etc. classic style sight post protection. This combination makes sight alignment extremely straightforward. In low light, the result is shape contrast which makes acquiring targets instantaneous - having a ring as a front post makes sighting at night possible while standard posts are long-gone. My first experience with this sight picture reminded me of my first time looking through an EOTech: “woah, this is like cheating.” I’d recommend the robust crosshair over the fine crosshair unless you’re shooting far. The crosshair is as fine as those found in scopes, and the added strength could be important. I got the fine crosshair and will be getting the more robust variant. The manufacturer should add a small bead at the center of the crosshair in my opinion, I will be adding one to mine.

This is easy to clean; dirt doesn’t accumulate in any nooks and there isn’t any texture keeping debris out of reach. The handles are large and ambidextrous, making this very simple to use regardless of how you may find yourself shooting or the circumstances. The charging handle’s wide ends will not wear out the storage cases it is kept in like sharper ends might. Matte, weather-resistant finish on quality aluminum. Love this product, great fit.

This can be installed on, but does not fit perfectly on .308 Springfield Saint Victor; everything is flush except for the rail height. Springfield’s receiver rail is slightly lower than that on the installed Wilson Combat hand guard by just a hair - they are not flush. The difference is slight, however. Aside from that, this is a quality hand guard that is smooth and well-fit with a finish that does not shine. It does it’s job. Simple, effective, lightweight and durable - this product will take care of you and the competition truly can’t do much better than this, here.
