So Far So Good...

First and foremost, one should know what they need in a medium to large sized ammo bag. With that said, this puppy is large..."big" would be a better descriptor. In my case, that's what I wanted and it works for me. BUT, my next bag will truly be a medium due to the challenges that come with a large bag...mainly the strap noted below, and inability to have a small footprint when needed.

The bag has a good selection of what I call useable slots and pockets. I have not found any of them to be too small...and also not to large. I have tried it with boxes of ammo, the plastic ammo boxes, and even plastic jars that I found that work well for practice ammo for me and the kids. I even use one of the long side pocket on one side to carry my folded over Keltec Sub2000, while putting pistols on the over side. My only wish, and it's not a knock, would be velcro pockets within the side zipper pockets to secure pistols and valuables. It makes it that much harder for anything to fall out. Overall, I would give the pocket selection 5 stars.

Now back to the size. The bag is so large that making good use of all the pockets and slots comes at a small price...your shoulder and back. So be ready for a pretty heavy carry if you load it up with ammo, tools, etc. Thus with the ability for this bag to carry so much, the should strap could be much better. It's a basic strap can can double up if you adjust it so, but overall it could be better and tends to dig into your should. Also t

Good Price but...

In my opinion, this unit is just ok unit when it comes to transitioning from a fully passive to electric headset. It works ok when up close and facing the right direction, but for overall loud noises coming from all directions, I did not find them ideal. I found myself having to use foam or even my Jabra 75t earbuds in conjunction with these Caldwells to get the protection I personally needed. Just going back to my much older passive headset was a better option. Although I could not hear voices as well as with the Caldwells, the single point of protection was much better.

Now one might ask "...what do you expect for the price"? I say there is truth in that question. BUT, at the same time, if you make it and sell it, don't produce for a low price point if the product is not going to work. Don't blame the customer because you don't like the truth.

Overall, I say give them as try and see what you think. They might work for you. I believe at the very least, you might appreciate having to pay much more for something like Peltors or others. My next move, move up to a $200 range headset and see what I think.
