Perfect for a 22 pistol

Written on Mar 09, 2020

All of my rods are Dewey, so I knew what to expect. Mine (22C-12) arrived in good shape, with a jag, and is the perfect size for my 22 pistols. Even long enough for cleaning a Ruger MKII from the breach. Not much flex, the coating seems to hold up well, threads are well made. Recommended.

great addition to a TD

Written on Mar 09, 2020

Nice way to add a red dot to the TD Backpacker model. Straightforward installation instructions, well made and thought-out piece. Not too bulky, unobtrusive, yet seems sturdy enough. I have a receiver mounted iron sight on mine, so can't use the see-through feature with an optic mounted, but solved that with a QD mount. The rifle still fits in the Ruger bag with this mount attached, too, although I've only got a Burris FF3 on it now. This is basically a scout mount for a reddot; not big enough to mount a scope, but very handy.

Solid Mount

Written on Mar 09, 2020

Nicely made, well finished, easy way to turn a FF3 into a QD sight. My Burris was in the protective-ear mount, but it was an easy process to transfer it to the ADM. I do kinda wish I could have moved the guard with it, bit the locating pins aren't long enough. I now have a quick way to move my FF3 between a pistol, a rimfire, and a centerfire rifle, as well as being able to just pop it off and use the iron sights.

Good economical handguard

Written on Feb 19, 2020

I bought this handguard for a 7.62X39 upper. Since I didn't need or want a freefloat, and planned on installing a front sight, this fit the bill. Installation was a little fiddly, as it's a snug fit between the barrel nut and the handguard cap, but it's solid once on. I added a QD swivel to the M-Lok slots, and that seems solid, too. The metal liner does a decent job of shielding your hand from barrel heat. If you're looking for a non-free-float M-Lok handguard, this one is worth looking at.

Nice Combo

Written on Feb 19, 2020

I was looking for an AR front sight that stood alone (i.e. not clamped to a gas block), but was also foldable, having a few of the fixed type already. This seemed to fit the bill at a reasonable cost. Installation was easy, it's well made, very little wobble (not that it is meant for match shooting anyway), and it's held up for probably 500 rounds so far. My first shots were right on the bullseye, which is a rarity for a new sight. I did take off the sling swivel to clear the forearm I'm using, and plan on adding a set screw to that bottom block, but this sight has shown no signs of movement, so that's not a priority at this point. The sight tower deploys easily, stays put, and is unobtrusive when folded. This was exactly what I wanted.

Nice chokes

I got a couple of these for my Browning CX, and have been very happy with them. They're well made, fit well, stay put, and have held up to 2 trap seasons so far. No complaints at all, except for maybe the cost, but that seems worth it.
