If you're into the HUB system as deep as a lot of us are then this is a great way to save some money with is just as good if not better mount.

I mean, this stock is amazing however if it was usable as a folder, it would get 5 stars. This stock will not fold if you're using the MI tang adapter. Do not buy this if you plan on keeping the value of your ak and using a tang adapter... it will not fold. If it worked with the Tang extension adapter on any of my AKs then I would say MI did some R and D. This will not work on my Saiga, my Romi, my Polish, my Vepr or bulgy. Super Stupid

As you can guess, it wouldn't be a great idea to cut the tang off any AK just to put an aftermarket stock on and you would buy this item so you wouldn't have to destroy an appreciating AK.
They can get away charging this price for a little piece of metal because they know if you butcher your Bulgy AK just tanked its value. I don't really mind paying for this since I want to pimp out my bulgy with the option to sell.
It would also make sense if you were willing fork out the cash to pimp out your AK with really expensive MI furniture, you'd expect it to work without modification to the gun or their components.
The MI Alpha folding stock will not work even when using this adapter. The tang sticks about 10mm beyond the folding mechanism making the MI alpha folding stock useless. AK tangs vary but not by that much so I can't find this useful on any of my commies.

I have a quite a few things from Fostech and they are all quite expensive. Even this item is the least expensive thing they sell and it is still real expensive for a turned chuck of metal. I got it, applied loctite to the exposed threads, started to install it and the little set screw stripped the threads of the handle ? I was even using the small end of the wrench because it won't rotate all the way around. What a pisser, right before a match.

Worked perfect right out of the box. Tried it in a couple of different uppers and performed flawlessly. I'm going to buy the full auto adapter cmmg sells to try on my binary trigger. My kids love it, I love it, nice tig welded product.
