I had one before in green so it would not look military but my wife objected saying it looked military. This time I picked Ice because black looks "SWAT" or military. The Ice looks great, reflects light and I hope easy to clean. The bag is tough and comfortable to wear. On the side are two water bottle pockets which military type packs do not. The main area takes my ballistic panel and the pocket on tops takes my POLICE patch like in the video. The shoulder straps are heavily padded and the back pad has a strip down the center for air circulation. There is the CCW area for my pistol and the top has a place for my retired badge. For travel it will do everything I want and need. However, the CCW area has a problem. The velcro is in the center of the CCW area and when I put my pistol holster there, the bag sags in the middle. I feel the area needs the velcro down near the bottom of the pouch so the grip of the pistol touches the bottom and keeps the area from sagging. I want to get a large hard panel with velcro to support the holster better.

When I received the box and opened it, the bayonet was in the box but no packing around the bayonet's box so the box was a little banged up. I checked out the bayonet and found the quality control was excellent. Everything was well put together with no gaps. I think other stores sell factory seconds but OP sent a first rate one. However, when I went to snap the strap, it would not snap. I then noticed the snap was broken off and was not in the box. Therefore, they sent box without checking that everything was fine. I returned the bayonet.
If you must have a Ontario M9, this is the one to get and OP is the company to get it from.

Thank you to OpticsPlanet.com for getting things straightened out. I ordered the Primary Arms, 4-14X44 FFP Scope with Patented ACSS .308/.223 HUD Reticle. What I got was the scope for .223 not for the .308. I called customer service and he was great. I explained to him and even he was first confused. He researched it and said to send the scope back and he would send out the one I want. I got the scope and the mount exactly what I wanted. Problems solved--no back and forth. This is why I get all my supplies from OpticsPlanet.com. If you want for .308, get PA4-14XFFP308 for the scope and PADLXSM for the mount.
The scope and mount are heavy duty and a little heavy but I think under SHTF conditions the weight wont bother me and the rifle is a .308 semi auto so the weight should help tame recoil. I spent a lot of time researching range finding reticles. This reticle does it for targets standing or prone. If you can see a part of the target, this will give you the range. I have not shot the rifle yet so I can't tell how it all holds up.

I saw this up close at a gun show where the Hi-Lux company had a table. I was impressed with the scope and the man who said he was the ballistics man a Mr. Wu. He said anything I wanted to know just ask. I have bought from and trust Optics Planet so I decided to buy from them. Not only was the price reduced from $597 to $497 plus a $40 discount, free shipping, and no tax. What a deal considering that Hi-Lux main office in about 3 miles away from my house. I saved big from Optics Planet.
The scope came double boxed with cloth, allen wrenches and an instruction book. However, the book is good but their charts are not easy to understand when it comes to setting the cam. I played with the instructions but was still stumped. I thought that even though the deal was great but if I can't figure it out what good is a great deal with if I can't use it. I considered sending it back. I then thought to send an email to the company. I told them my loads and when in a day, this Mr. Wu sent me the settings for the cam. Was I pleased. I have mounted the scope on my rifle and can't wait to sight it in.
The bottom line is Contact Hi-Lux and they will help.

When I received the boonie hat I was very pleased at the quality and thickness of the fabric. I was also pleased at the inside of the crown pocket where I can put a small map or other item. There is also the cord for use during windy days which would keep the hat from blowing off. There are also the two screened air holes on both sides for air circulation. In the back is an adjustment cord to adjust the size of the inside band. The hat has more adjustments than I really expected or even need but it is good they are their just in case. One thing that was missing was the loops around the outside where I could have put leaves or branches or whatever. I am in a way glad because I just wanted a sun hat in Multicam and having the loops would seem ridicules. So if a person wants an exact replica of a Viet Nam era boonie hat then this hat is not for you. But, If you want a swiss army knife of boogie hats then this is for you.

I acquired a Condor drag bag in multicam and I wanted a matching backpack. Since the Condor drag bag is super quality I wanted a Condor brand. I also wanted a backpack that could double for travel and business. This model can hold a tablet or laptop and other business items. Even better was since I reviewed a product on Optics Planet I got a discount and free shipping. It does not get any better than that. When it came I was shocked by the quality and the usefulness. The material is extremely heavy duty and rugged. In addition, the bag is fully adjustable. That waist belt is removable which pleased me. The bag to me is like a swiss army knife as it can do anything I want or need. I highly recommend this bag and the Condor brand. I like it so much I have ordered other Condor items for my bag.

The knife is great and is everything people say it is. The grip has a rubberized coating and has grooves in it for non slip. The grip is thick to make it not turn in the hand under hard use. I am not sure what the open part of the blade is for? The only down side is it is a bit thick for pocket carry even though it has a pocket clip. If it was just a bit more narrow it would be perfect.

Best price on the net. Lowest price on the net with free shipping and no tax! Top quality product with all the bells and whistles I wanted. The fit and feel are tops. If it came in green and at the same price I would get me another one. For what I would pay a German brand I can get a redfield in all the colors of the rainbow with money left over. I will definitely but optics planet and redfield again.
