incorrect gas length-Pistol, not carbine!

I can attest that this barrel is pistol length, not carbine length like it says. Unfortunately I didn't find this out until I assembled the gas block, gas tube, and attempt to install on the barrel.
Other than this, it seems to be well made. I can't write a review in how it shoots as I was given incorrect information. If this barrel is anything like other Faxon barrels, expect a break-in period.

Review for
Faxon Firearms Duty .308 WIN Barrel
Hopefully a one-off, but the barrel Received passes headspace but fails chamber gauge. I think during QA/QC in manufacturing it seems they forgot to check chambering.
Unfortunately, I didn't find this out until I had my AR-10 full assembled and at the range for a test fire. I'm not sure where I put the packaging as I wasn't expecting this kind of failure. I've contacted the manufacturer and OpticsPlanet over the Christmas weekend, but they haven't had a chance to hit me back yet. Hopefully I'll get this fixed.
