Overall this is optic is a great value. It looks and feels like a good quality scope. The glass is clear with a sharp reticle. The illumination levels work well. It would be nice if there was an "off" position between each intensity level, but not that big of a deal. Adjusting the magnification is smooth with the right amount of resistance. Windage and elevation turrets feature positive clicks for easy adjustments. It's also that they included flip caps with the optic. When setting up the scope make sure to check eye relief at both 1x and 8x. I had to adjust mine a few times to find the best location for all magnification levels. At the lowest setting its not a true 1x, but pretty close, so still usable as a "red dot". This was the only reason the scope wasn't 5 stars.
