Eotech and Optics Planet made things Right.

Based on my last review where the mount was missing, I have been made whole by Eotech and Optics Planet. I received the missing offset mount and now have a fully workable system.
I made a call to Eotech inquiring about the missing EFLX mount and was asked for the Vudu serial number. Apparently, Eotech was already in contact with Optics Planet because a couple days later, I received the shipping notification from Eotech and also OP.

VUDU 3-9x Ultra Short Rifle Scope with EFLX AND OFFSET MOUNT

Received my order on 3/24/2025 which was missing offset mount for EFLX red dot. Patiently waiting for a mount from EOTECH. Without it, the system is just a scope that cost more, but included less.
The sight I DID receive is solid and clear. It is an extremely innovative piece of equipment in a small package. I haven’t installed it on my rifle yet because I may have to return it unless Optic Planet and Eotech come through with the offset ring mount.
All other orders have been a great experience.
I’m looking forward to updating my evaluation with a better rating.

A Great Piece of Kit for Side-Charging ARs

I have a Faxon ARAK-21 upper receiver on my AR15. The ARAK has a charging handle similar to an MP5 and located just aft of the piston gas regulator. When charging the weapon, it is quite a stretch for my thumb to lock the bolt open.
The Phase 5 Bolt release is a single piece that replaces your existing bolt release. Just punch out the drive pin that holds in your current bolt release and replace it with the Phase 5. Now you have access to lock and release the bolt in close proximity to your trigger finger. It’s a game changer for me. No concerns about screws backing backing out of bolt-on extended bolt releases.
