There aren’t many options for those looking to build a .350 legend AR. This is one. Installed to a thermal fit honed upper, paired with an OPMOD vortex scope. Superlative AGB, Alaskan 360 on the end. It’s not my first rodeo building sub-moa (or sub-1/2moa) weapons, and this struggles to maintain 2moa. Cycles soft nose ammo fine such as Winchester target 145gr, and federal jsp 180gr. Jams Hornady sub-x 250gr about every third round. Swapped out for heavier buffer and spring, still jams on feed. I think I will have the feed ramp milled out to allow it to cut into the upper may help with this but I haven’t gotten around to it.

Over all, not bad, but I’ll be damned if I can find ammo to consistently get 1moa at 100 through it. Its purpose is for deer, and honestly keeping sub 2mo is good enough for me in that regard, I just had higher hopes.

Was back and forth between this and Radian, compared to the radian raptor, it’s not quite as nice. But it works as it should and has great ambi functionality. Is it a Radian? No. Do you really NEED to spend twice the amount on something like a charging handle? No.

Good color match for aero FDE. Super light weight, easy install no extra ridiculous timing like some. Has a bit of a ring to it, a bike tube I use for cord management seemed to hush it.

Very helpful balancing weight out with heavier barrels, or if you want an ultralight platform without going carbon fiber. Just a wonderful hand guard.

Great mount. Matches my FDE Aero upper well, matches my FDE Odin hand guard well. Doesn’t match my FDE Vortex OPMOD scope.

Odd that it DOESNT match is the only other OPMOD item I have.

Side note: The OPMOD scope matches strike industries buffer tube “FDE”

Removed black bolt catch in FDE upper. Installed this. Didnt catch. Cycled the heck out of it still wont catch. Replaced black bolt catch, functions flawlessly. Maybe if I get some time I can try and find the high spots and polish them, but such a simple thing shouldnt require that.

I love the extension it provides. Makes the button really stick out but I haven’t had any issues with unintentional pressing. Only down side is that like other Strike “FDE” colored items it’s really more of a bronze than FDE.

I mean, it’s a dust cover, it definitely improved my shooting ability. I was lucky to hit 5moa before and now I’m sub-1/2moa.

But let’s be honest. It’s a pop-in style so you don’t have to remove the hand guard or anything else. It fits tight, and pops open as designed. Flag design is great and looks amazing on an Aero FDE upper.
