I want to like this scope but haven't been successful after two tries

So I must apparently have some terrible luck with close to medium range sights. A friend had one of these and I really liked it so went with it. Received mine and vision was completely cloudy (confirmed by everyone who looked through it). Returned scope and picked up same model from local sporting goods store. The illuminated reticle turns off when I rack my charging handle back on that one. I'm done with this scope.

Initial impression was good although it is heavier than I would like for 1-4 however, after a use or two I noticed little specs all over. Apparently this is normal according to their warranty policy.

Illumination is uneven but not a deal breaker. The specks everywhere is definitely a deal breaker and I can now hear something shaking around inside the scope when I shake it. Do yourself a favor and shell out a little extra for something else IMHO
