Awsome for plinking

Written on Mar 29, 2021

Mounted this on my new Ruger mark IV 22/45 tactical for plinking and small game hunting. Amazed that it was sighted in perfect without making any adjustments. Plenty of adjustment to be highly visible in all light conditions. Seems high quality and I own aimpoint, eotech, Leopold and Vortex in. Comparison. I hate cheap optics and I love this sight.

Very dissapointed

Written on Dec 21, 2015

Purchesed this scope for my Mega Arms AR-15 build. Scope seemed awsome out of the box and during the fist trip to the range. Only put a total of 60 Rounds of 556 through the gun with the scope on. All was well untill the next time I looked through the scope. Noticed a large piece of black debris on the inside of the the scope. Leuopld would not pay for shipping and it cost a premium to ship this since it was such an expensive item. Took over a mounth to get it back and when I did the turrets were lose and marred up and the scope was scratched from the repairs. It had to be compleatly dissasempled and cleaned on the inside. Poor quality control and poor warrenty service for a priemium scope. This was my first and last Leupold scope I will have purchased. Also the magnification selector ring is very stiff nearly impossible to manipulate when it is cold with gloved hands, meaning you have to purches a MGM switchview or simmilar product. Also lense covers are not readily aviailble. I was hoping to purchase tenebraex killflash lense cover, hover they are not availible for this unit. If I was to do it again I would have whent whith a vortex Razor.

Amazingly bright

Written on Jul 09, 2015

Size:First off this light is a duty sized light. If you are looking for an edc light, or a concealable tactical light there are better options Surefire offers to better fit your needs. This is a large light and unless you are wearing a large over shirt there is no concealing it and it will draw attention. However, I have and do conceal it with an over shirt on occasion. It is the perfect size light for a duty belt not to big and not to small.

Holster:I ordered a kydex holster from Multi Holsters. It was the only holster available at the time and it works great. the only down side is the light has to be carried bezel up. It has a blade tech tech lok clip for your belt which is top of the line.

brightness: this light is insanely bright, out shines the HighBeam headlights on my vehicle. It easily will light up threats/items at 100 yards away and more. It has a nice centered hot spot with a good amount of spill. The low output is perfect for reading or looking at items up close. the Med out put is good for general use and the high output will quickly overcome anyone eyesight even in the day or indoors. I recently had a crowd of individuals surround my family after the 4th of July fireworks protesting/preaching there cause and the 1,000 lumen strobe quickly made the 15 to 20 individuals disperse in confusion without me having to say a single word and avoiding a confrontation.

I have only had the light for a little over a month and have not yet needed to re-charge it. So I canno
