Steiner HX 15x56 Roof Prism Binocular
I've been a Steiner fan for 20 years, but I recommend you stay away from this cheap junk. Unfortunately, I bought two pair for Christmas and was very disappointed in both. The glass is okay for the price, but the center-focus's on both were sticky; resistance followed by skipping, often past the focal point. Finding the proper focal point can take multiple back-n-forth tries, which is frustrating for $1,000 binoculars. Both were returned twice, but Steiner couldn't find anything wrong. I informed them that I have a cheap pair of Vangard's and a medium-priced pair of Meopta's that are infinitely better than the Steiner's.

After the 3rd try, I finally received a scope that had a functional battery compartment. Two of the four AA batteries would not depress and thus the battery cap would not fit properly. So far, the scope is pretty awesome, i.e. clarity, definition, etc. Looking forward to sight it in and kill some hogs.
