If you are looking to beef up your firearm tool collection, this is the perfect candidate for a multi-purpose vice block. Using a bolt carrier assembly, you can reliably secure your barrel and upper receiver for tightening barrel nuts or muzzle devices. I personally used it with several different barrels and receivers and it never gave me any doubts about how durable it was. I've used the magazine-well function a few times but you don't see high torque from hand tools on that part usually. Overall, the build quality is excellent and it is loaded with features. I would highly recommend this to a novice and even to a more experienced gunsmith. For the price, it cannot be beat!

I had looked at SI's latchless charging handle before, but passed it up as a gimmick. Then, while building a unique AR with red accents on it, I stumbled across this charging handle and figured "even if it's a gimmick, at least it fits the color scheme of the rifle". I'm glad to admit I was wrong. The spring mechanism works great, feels smooth, and had no issues on three different uppers I tested it on. I don't know how secure it will be in the long-run, having a mechanical latch really does give you a certain robust peace-of-mind. But I don't mind using this over a standard charging handle on my less critical AR builds. The wings of the charging handle are the perfect size to remain snag-free, while also offering improved texturing over the mil-spec option. This is definitely a worthy upgrade for any build that doesn't have to maintain combat-effective readiness. The overall design is great, and the red anodizing on the one I purchased was perfect. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to bedazzle their rifle a little bit, but I do think that it doesn't fit the requirements of duty use.

I've used several of these magazines, in both the 30 round and 5 round capacity. Never had any issue with them feeding, and the light-weight aluminum is nice when carrying these on your person. They're cheap, simple, and durable. I thought I would upgrade the followers to Magpul followers but I honestly havent found that to be necessary. Great all-around mags.
