No, the Magpul Industries AR15/M4 BEV Block is only compatible with 5.56mm AR-15/M16 rifles.

Will this work with an MCX Virtus upper? Expert Answer

The Magpul Industries AR15/M4 BEV Block is designed to work with Mil-Spec AR15 so it might work with the MCX Virtus. However, I recommend contacting Magpul to confirm compatibility.

I have not used the reaction rod part yet, but it does fit, it seems like it will be a solid reaction rod, upper and lower vice block plastic where it can be metal where it needs to be. I have no complaints

I bought this and modded it for the use of the MCX platform. If you grind down the 1’o clock and 2’o clock lugs. It will fit the Mcx while still being functional for standard AR/M4 rifles.

The Magpul Industries AR-15/M4 Barrel Extension Vise Block is an all-in-one tool for assembly operations of barrel nuts, flash hiders, and other barrel extensions. Providing support for both billet and forged upper receivers, these Receiver Vise Blocks & Reaction Rods from Magpul Industries engages the barrel extension with solid steel lugs and supports the shank to prevent flexing. The steel hardness of the Magpul Industries Compact BEV Block is extremely durable but won't damage the barrel extension, and all engagement surfaces are covered with a special polymer to protect the aluminum receiver. For added benefit, you can flip the Magpul Industries Barrel Extension Vise Tool over for use as a mag well vise block during maintenance.image
