Fits my AAC M4-2000 5.56 suppressor and let me remove the hot suppressor

Written on Feb 20, 2026

Fits my AAC M4-2000 5.56 suppressor, and let me remove the hot suppressor. Not too bulky, and actually is a thinner material that I expected. I did wish that the inside was a little grippier, to help use it to loosen my suppressor, as the 18T detents on the older style muzzle device are fairly tight. But this is a limitation on the fireproof material and not the fault of Burn Proof. Looks good in black camo too.

Tighter tolerances than my other mil-spec buffer tubes, works great on 10" AR-15 5.56 gas piston SIG

I have a couple of other AR 15 pistols using CMMG buffer tubes, springs, and H3 buffers, and my SBA3 pistol braces rattle around on those buffer tubes. But on this Geissele buffer tube my SBA3 brace fits perfectly - it feels like a precision machine when adjusting the brace position. Yes, this cost me 50% more, so it may not be for everyone. I also likes the screw-tube "fidget-toy" that the spring and buffer come packed in,

Built 3 Sig P365 pistols around these barrels, improves control

Written on Apr 05, 2025

I have built three guns around these Radian Ramjet Afterburner compensated barrels. I started with a cheap used 1-year old Sig P365, to which I added a Grayguns laser stilled X macro grip and brass backspaced, to make it a full size pistol. I also added a Holosun red dot and Olight BALDR S light/laser. That pistol was shooting incredibly flat with less barrel rise, although it still has a noticeable backward recoil impulse with +P ammo. I was impressed enough that I then acquired another pair of these Radian compensated barrels for my pair of original 6-yr old P365, which have a Wilson Combat XL grip and Wilson short grip respectively. Previously, I had difficulty shooting the short grip P365 accurately or rapidly, but with the compensated barrel it’s much easier to control, and my groups are smaller with rapid fire. The difference is not miraculous or shocking like in some YouTube videos, but its noticeable with very little increase in size, so it doesn’t interfere with pocket carry in the smaller P365 models. For me, the difference is bigger with the two smaller P365’s with lighter / shorter grips. With the X macro grip with brass back spacer, the biggest improvement is that I don’t lose track of the red dot during recoil, even though without the compensator an X macro is fairly controllable.
