First thing I would like to say is that if you are looking for a flash suppressor, this is not the product for you. That being said however, for what this product is intended, it's incredible! The Badlands is intended for suppressing recoil and aiming the muzzle blast downrange where it should go. Straight out of the box, I was impressed that the Badlands is incredible in that it's a single piece! Something like the Badlands couldn't possibly have been machined. So I checked further and found that it's actually printed! Yes! A single printed piece of steel! I guess they can print just about anything these days! It's hefty too, weighing in at just under a half pound! Putting it on the rifle was a piece of cake. Just make sure you order the correct threads for your intended rifle(s). Just take off your current flash suppressor, muzzle brake, or thread guard, put a tiny bit of thread lock on the threads, and screw it on. Shooting with the Badlands on, I found that it does suppress recoil, and throws most of the concussive blast downrange just as advertised. If someone stands directly lateral to the barrel (which they have no business there unless they are your support in a gunfight), they will feel a bit of the blast, but very little as compared to not having the Badlands installed.
