I installed on a Thunder Ranch Aero lower, with the Aero lower kit and a Magpul BAD lever. The ambi mag release was compatible with this lower, lower kit and the BAD, but could easily be incompatible with bullet lowers that have thicker mag well walls. Releases magazine with reasonable button pressure. Button is near BAD lever, so might accidentally hit lever when it counts if you don't develop muscle memory first?

Seems lighter than my Atlas, and a little bulkier, but not ad bulky as the Harris bipod. Easy enough to manipulate. Tension knob has good texture and easy to tighten down. The clips to remove feet and add in leg extensions are very tight, like Atlas, but are more accessible than on my Atlas.

Like others say, must be fully molle'd to something (through both loops) or else it will rotate and bind when you try to retrieve. However, if it is secured well to a belt, pack or other, it holds a tourniquet very well. Keeps it in place during running, jumping and rolling around. I find it easy enough to retrieve one handed though, so not too tight.

I brought a couple if these on last falls elk hunt (no elk unfortunately) and used them to shoot 4 grouse. One of them was quartering away and the arrow went in the near breast and out the neck. It didn't slow down enough and went right through (lost the arrow, grouse was in a tree). All others arrow stopped in the bird.. Just make sure you hit center of mass on small animals. Durable and effetive.

This handle fits my hands really well, very comfortable. Texture is grippy. I have smaller hands for a guy so if you have large hands, you might want to look for a larger handle. The brushes stay tight for awhile, but eventually loosen with use. But easy to loosen when you want to change brushes.

The light us great. I nice wide and uniform hot spot with good peripheral light as well. Comes with many mounting inserts to precisely fine tune how it sits on a pic rail. The remote switch comes with several mounting options. One option is flexible plastic brackets that snap onto a pic rail that the switch snaps into. I didn't like this because it mounted too far off of the handgun and was not comfortable to use. It also offers a zip tie option with recessed channels molded into the switch body. This was my preference (to be closer to the handgun and because I don't have pic rail where I want it mounted). However, the zip tie channels are too close to the switch body taper where the cord enters and too close to the radius' at the other end so zip ties tend to walk out of the channels when tight. I ended up fabricating a backing plate that I put inside the handguard and mounted the switch with bolts running through the handgun to the backing plate. Would be slick if they offered such an option.

I would give it 5 stars but Optics plant gives it the wrong item title. The Shotgun model only holds 5 Shells, not 6. If you visit the manufacturers website, they call it a 5 shell holder. There is a 6th loop on mine but it's too small for a 6th shell, just there to continue the elastic to the far end of the fabric. The tapered shape and back strap provide great fit. And of course it covers up the sling stud. I plan to reinforce that area with some Cordura nylon and burn a hole for the stud to poke through.

These are my first amplifying ear muffs so I don't have a basis for comparison but I'm impressed at the clarity of the amplifying speakers. Great way to keep ears safe but nothing to yell at each other to talk. Low profile and comfortable. The stock-side muff does hit the cheek riser on my HMR stock so best to have a foam or other plug in that ear when I shoot that gun.

The blades aren't nearly as stiff as fixed blade knives, and I wouldn't use this like a boning knife (flexing the place on purpose). But it's a great knife for separating joints and skinning, due to the smaller size of the blades and the guaranteed sharpness a quick blade swap provides. Blades anchor securely and don't feel like they will come off during use.

I prefer a more vertical grip angle than what comes with the lower build kits. This one is right on, especially for prone shooting. The compartment door (on the bottom) is a little tough for me to open but that might be because my thumb has been a little week since I broke it a couple years ago. Otherwise, great!
