Affordable, Relilable, Sturdy, Easy to use

Written on Aug 28, 2020

Advice:

You have to be very careful when using this device. Follow the instructions carefully. I used a flash-lighted head band and continually checked to ensure it wasn't too low nor too high. If it's too low you can scratch the slide, if it's too high you won't get enough torque on the sight. When using the dovetail 5/32 side of the universal press block, you have to ensure the slide is positioned so that the press block isn't touching neither the rear nor front of the dovetail because you could end up widening your dovetail gap.

When loosening the vertical stabilizer, ensure the sides of the mover are clear from the sight or it'll be too tight for you to loosen it.

All this all, this sight mover is affordable and a necessity, if you have bad eyes as I do, and if you are continually changing sights on your firearms frequently.

Durable keeps zero but can't change to single dot and brightness setting missing

Written on Aug 11, 2020

This optic did say it only had a circle dot but I didn't realize that when I purchased it. I have many Holosuns HE507C and they can display single or circle dot. Another issue is the brightness settings. It goes from bright to really bright or dim to really dim. There seems to be a level that's in the middle.

I would recommend this only if that doesn't bother you as it is reliable and keeps zero.

This thing works great on my model 686-6

Written on Jan 30, 2020

I just got this and I installed it on my model S&W 686-6 6" barrel .357 revolver. I loaded the eight chambers with used shell casings and tighten adapter so that it fits snugly. This thing worked like a charm. I shot in double action at a 13 feet away bulls eye. I didn't even need to adjust wind-age nor elevation. I had original used a single laser bullet and had to continually reset the barrel to fire the same cartridge again and again, with this contraption, I just squeeze the trigger one right after the other. It's great practice tool. I highly recommend it.
