This Gen 4 Green Guide Rod laser is much brighter than my red laser sights. It is not as bright as my Crimson Trace green laser sight, on my S&W M&P Shield, but it's still bright enough to be seen in bright sunlight. I have a green guide rod laser sight on my Gen 3 Glock 32, and I like it so much that I got the Green Guide Rod laser sight for my Gen 4 Glock 19. The Gen 4 Green Guide Rod laser has a pulsating green laser, which I like, and it uses less battery power. The Gen 3 guide rod laser has a steady green laser beam. They are not interchangeable because the Gen 3, and the Gen 4 Glock guide rods, are made different, and are not interchangeable. The Green Guide Rod laser was easy to install. After firing 100 rounds, of 9mm +P, it seems to still be accurate. It's not something that you would want to use for bull's eye shooting at 25 yards, although it's easy to see at that distance, but it is great for self defense, combat type shooting.

The EOTech OPMOD EXPS2 is such a great weapon sight that I now have 4 of them. One, with a magnifier, on a Tavor bull-pup rifle, one on a KelTec PR16, one on a S&W M&P 16, and one on a KelTec KSG bull-pup 12 gauge shotgun. The EOTech OPMOD EXPS2's wide field of view, and dot in a circle reticle, makes finding the target, and locking on to it, very fast, and accurate. In fact we were able to hit hand thrown clays while using it on the KSG shotgun.

Through the years I've bought many laser sights for my hand guns and rifles. Most have been red lasers, and some are the brighter green lasers. I would rate this Crimson Trace Green LaserGuard, for my S&W M&P Shield 9mm, as the brightest laser I own. Even in bright sun light it's easy to see. I took it to the range to sight it in, and found that it was already dead on accurate at 7 yards, and only a few inchs low at 25 yards. It fits my S&W M&P Shield 9mm great, and was very easy to install. It is fairly compact. and blends in nicely with the S&W M&P Shield 9mm contours. The activation button is instinctive to use. Just grip the the gun, and the middle finger automatically presses the activation button. I like the fact, that if I don't want the laser on while I'm holding the gun (like when I don't want the Zombies to know where I am), all I have to do is relax the tension on my middle finger. Then when I get a clear shot at a Zombie brain, all I have to do is tighten my grip, and put the bright green dot on target. Now I'm waiting for Crimson Trace to start shipping their Green LaserGuard for the full sized, and compact, S&W M&Ps. I'll be buying 2 of them. One for my M&P 9 Pro CORE, and one for my M&P 40 compact. As usual Optics Planet's free delivery was prompt.

If you're looking for a nylon, military type belt, then this is the right choice. It's inexpensive, easy to use, and sturdy. You can use it to hold your pants up, or to hold holsters, and other gear. I also like it to hold my archery belt quiver.
