I bought this barrel for a 350 legend build to hunt with in Maryland as well as places that are straight wall only for hunting.350 legend is a good round, but it’s not known to be some super precise round, and it doesn’t need to be since it’s primarily for 250 meters and closer. However, I was shocked to find this barrel was extremely accurate. Using 160 grain loads from federal, I was repeatedly shooting 1 moa 3 shot groups with ease. I was able to get a buck with it at 60 meters offhand while standing, and my wife heart shot her first deer at 117 meters with it. Overall just an excellent barrel and I’ve now recommended it to many other people. The price can’t be beat either.

I purchased the 11.5” m76 rail to go with my 12.5” Roscoe manufacturing barrel. If you’ve installed any other rails before then this one is just as easy. I was able to get it installed in about 15 minutes. The lock up is great and the rail feels absolutely rock solid. The long steel barrel nut ensures a lot of surface contact with the handguard and minimizes deflection. I’m only running a flashlight on it, so I’m not concerned about rail deflection like I would be with an IR laser, but I would feel completely confident using it for that purpose as well. This is a great upgrade to your regular AR. It is a narrower diameter, so keep that in mind if you use adjustable gas blocks. Low profile gas blocks fit perfectly.

I bought this because I liked the profile of the barrel and was interested in the new gas system length. After installing it, I zeroed it and found it to be just as accurate as my Triarc track 2.0 barrel with the cheap m193 that I was using. I was able to achieve about 2 MOA 5 shot groups with this, although this was just while using a red dot and shooting off of a bag on a hot day with cheap ammo. I’d expect it to easily be a 1moa gun or possibly better with 77gr or just some higher quality 55gr. After zeroing, I shot around 150 rounds through it while suppressed and found that it was smoother than my ballistic advantage carbine length 12.5 barrel and not quite as gassy. I do not use adjustable gas blocks, but it was not bad enough to bother me. A charging handle designed for decreasing gas to the face would solve that issue. I did run it with a bootleg adjustable bolt carrier group and found it cycled great on the 3rd setting (partially suppressed) with no noticeable gas to the face with a regular charging handle.

I purchased these pants for mid season whitetail hunting and found them to be very comfortable, especially when hiking through difficult/steep terrain and going over and under downed trees. The fit was perfect for me (5’7, 170lbs) and the pattern is great as well. I decided to put them through a real challenge and hunted in some thick green briar with them to see how they’d hold up. Unfortunately, this material is not meant for that and they seemed to get pulled apart everywhere that the green briar touched them. With that in mind, I wouldn’t take them through that type of vegetation in the future, but I’ll definitely be using them on September-October hunts in regular hardwood or swampy areas. They really are some of the most comfortable pants I’ve worn, so there is some trade off with that. BUT, none of that matters that much because I contacted Kryptek’s customer service, and they replaced the pants free of charge. It is great using gear from a company that really supports its customers.

I ordered these pants in sky fall size medium for late season whitetail hunting in Maryland. I mostly saddle hunt, and found that these pants were very comfortable while in the saddle and didn’t seem to bunch up like some insulated pants do. I found that they were great as stand alone pants between 25-50 degrees, but with a base layer and mid layer were comfortable down to 0 degrees. They are waterproof and windproof, but my favorite thing about them is how quiet they are and how durable they are. I went through some pretty thick green briar with them, including getting caught up and snagged many times, but they are still in perfect condition with not one stitch being pulled out or fray in the fabric.

I plan on using these as stand alone and with some little grubs attached to targets everything from smallmouth to crappie. They feel sturdy and work as advertised, so I’m looking forward to landing some fish with them come April and May. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that it came with three lures instead of just one

While I still have some silencerco ASR muzzle devices, I have switched to using the Kaw Valley ASR Brake on all of my recent builds and will continue to use them for all future rifles. They work perfectly and are significantly more affordable than any other ASR muzzle devices. The only thing I’d like to see is them make ones that are a little bit longer in order to allow 14.5” and/or 13.9” barrels to be p/w to 16”. As of now, that is the only reason I don’t have one on every one of my guns.
