Dont bother

I finallly received it in the mail today only to open it and notice that the threads look worn and small the whole body has scratches and dings and small gouges. I tried putting a thread protector on it and it doesn't go on i tried another. I have mutiple ½×28 and they all go on but not this product. It looks to me that it might have been a return item. I have bought a couple thing and this is the first time optics planet has sent me garbage.

Could be wider

All metal and has a heft weight, with end caps with o-ring seal on both ends. I use it to store my cleaning equipment brushes, oil, and cleaning pads. So far it better than the platic ones i have used. Dont have to worry about plastic cracking from age, deterioration from chemical or dropping it.
The only down side is the inside diameter is not that large. For reference the ouside diameter is slightly smaller than a 16oz great value water bottle the sell at walmart.
