Unreliable switch

Review for
Holosun P.ID Cree LED Weapon Light
First, the base model (this one) produces only 800 lumens on high mode and 400 on low. Next, you have to crank the lens down as tight as it will absolutely go for the battery to make contact. That parts ok, just weird. Why I would NOT recommend this for anything other than casual shooting is the POS switch. It’s ambidextrous but it doesmt function correctly everytime i push it. sometimes it turns on as it should and sometimes it doesnt. sometimes it flickers and fades out to nothing. if you do tactical things for your job then absolutely do NOT use this thing as it will fail you when you most need it!

All good things

Review for
Ultradyne Apollo S Compensator
Looks really sweet, the installation hardware ensures it will be perfectly lined up side to side, and tames recoil like nobody’s business! I put this on my wife’s rifle and she loves it. Added bonus is the side blast rocking everyone and everything next to you.

The price should set your expectations
Written on Nov 07, 2021
If you shop for a stock long enough you will see that this is a very cheap buy. The receiver dropped in and mounted just fine and the barrel is completely free floating. However, the stock is not uniform and there is a non-symmetrical gap along the barrel underneath the stock and it just looks cheap. The receiver itself is a snug fit and the screws threaded in just fine. The magazine catch did not catch the magazine so I had to use a Dremel tool to grind down the magazine catch after I disassembled it from the stock. Last downside to this stock is the bipod. It is non-adjustable and sticks inside of the stock itself and you have to pry it out with a tool. It is very cheap and sits crooked so the gun is not level while on the bipod. The upside to the stock is obviously the price and the ability to adjust the cheek pad and the butt stock for trigger pull length. If you are going to do any kind of serious target shooting I would recommend staying away from this cheap piece of plastic and get something of real quality.

All you need

I have bought several of these and all came in perfect condition. Good product for the money and the manufacturer is legit. The nitride coating makes for a nice look and the beveled edges make it fit and function well. Throw i on a little TW-25 and you are set.

No trigger guard
Written on Oct 16, 2021
I was half assing it and did not pay close enough attention to the description. Now I have to go buy a trigger guard and the pins for it. Other than that everything fit well. The safety selector was rough at first but work it a few times at it’s smooth as my previously mentioned mistake.

Ergonomic and Crisp
Written on Oct 13, 2021
I finally got out to the range with my new build and found this trigger is everything it seemed to be after lots of dry fire. Crisp break and consistent. The rounded edges fit the finger pad well without worry of slipping while applying pressure. Also, easy to install if you apply the brain the good Lord gave you. This was my first time dealing with anti roll pins but in about 10 minutes I was good to go. Worth the money!
