I’ve built several AR’s but can’t get this 300 BO to function correctly. I’ve made several calls and emails to Odin and each time I’m assured a RMA is in the works, yet nothing. Everything points to a manufacturing defect, but who knows since I’ve yet been able to return it. Extremely disappointed in Odin’s customer service.

After hearing/reading so many positives about DD, I am left feeling let down with this product.

I am used to Magpul and VLTOR buttstocks, which are very simple to install. After struggling with the installation of the buttstock with no luck, and with no instructions included, I finally humbled myself and contacted Support for help.

The buttstock fits EXTREMELY tight on the (VLTOR) milspec buffer tube, so much so it can't be adjusted without an undue amount of effort. I have to put the rifle down and position it in such a way as to gain enough leverage to overpower the adjustment mechanism.

I was surprised a 25 cent allen wrench was not included to enable installation of the trigger guard. Really? Luckily enough, I already had an appropriate size on hand.

I'm 6'0" and 195 lbs - I have average sized hands, yet find this pistol grip undersized. I had a Stark grip from another AR and used it instead. The previous grip on this gun was an ugly Ergo, and it was much more filling. I used the grip from the kit for an AR I am rebuilding for my wife as it's much more suitable for her hand size

Speaking of the grip, and this is simply personal preference, but I find an allen bolt, or even a phillips style, much easier to use for installation, and less likely to strip, than a straight slotted bolt supplied with this kit.

Lastly, no "swag"? A 50 cent window decal mighta been a nice treat.
