Daniel Defense BCG

Written on Feb 26, 2026

The name speaks for itself I combined it with my DD4RIII upper and looking forward to getting tens of thousands of rounds out of it. Daniel Defense is the best at making some high quality BCG's.

Muzzle Brake

Written on Jan 10, 2026

Phenomenal muzzle brake and works well with any silencer Co suppressor. If you are looking for an ASR style brake this one is half the price of silencerco and just as good. The taper is machined perfectly for a solid fit. Avoid Kaw Valley's other muzzle device which is the 3 prong flash hider at all cost! Makes an absolutely horrible noise when shooting and cycling the weapon from the tines not being offset. The loudest tuning fork you will ever hear.

Muzzle Device

Absolutely terrible! The harmonics that this flash hider puts off is unbearable. Whether you are running suppressed or unsuppressed the Ping noise it makes is so annoying and very loud. You have been warned twice in the reviews. Do not purchase this! Kaw Valley makes really good stuff including muzzle devices and pistons but this item is not one of them!

Criterion Barrel

Written on Dec 02, 2025

It's a very accurate barrel and I do like it. But I'm a cheap guy when it comes to what I shoot at the range and these type of Barrels have very small gas ports with this one measuring in at .066. It absolutely hates steel case and low power 223 ammunition and will not cycle even with light buffer spring and buffer. When running suppressed it does a lot better but it is still under gassed with the type of ammunition I'm running. If you are going to buy this Barrel make sure you are going to shoot nothing but 5.56 out of it or you may run into cycling issues

Streamlight Protac 2.0 HP

Written on Oct 11, 2025

Absolutely fantastic light and and objects are easily visible at 100 yards and around 25 to 35 yards wide on full brightness only downside it is a chunky light and it is heavy. M-loc mounting screws are a little long and may obstruct your gas block if you are running a mid-length system on anything shorter than 12.5. So have spare M-loc screws. If you want this type of brightness out of any other light you're looking at anywhere from $300 and up from any of the other brands.

Streamlight

The TLR7-HL-X is by far my favorite weapon light by Streamlight. The extra 500 lumens compared to the original TLR-7 make a big difference. You also get the rechargeable CR123 battery included
