FDE color is perfect to match MSR from Aero. Enhanced design provides perfect fit to enhanced upper receiver. Fit and finish are top quality.

Finish and fit on the mount was excellent. Standard Vortex quality. Purchased this to mount on top of an Aero Precision build with a Wilson Combat sniper barrel. Married it with a Vortex Diamondback 4-16 X 44. Placement of the scope on the weapon was at the right height (for me) and setting eye relief was simply. After the first trip to the range, I intend to ordered a second mount for another planned build.

Underwood Ammo 9mm Luger +P 147 Grain Coated Hard Cast Nickel Plated Brass Cased Pistol Ammunition
I was planning a trip to bear country and needed an appropriate ammo. A review said, Underwood hard cast in 10MM or 9MM. My favorite weapon a Sig365 Tacops shoots this ammo well. The first 17 round magazine resulted in 17 rounds inside a four inch circle at 26 yards, unsupported. Shoot several for penetration into wood. This was the first 9mm to penetrate the wood backstop. I was really happy with this ammo and felt confident carrying it in bear country. Luckily it was not needed, but I felt sure it would do the job if called upon.

Excellent Ammo

Armor piercing is not a hunting round but for the purpose I purchased this ammo it would be hard to find better. PMC ammo has also performed well for my range days. I do not recall a time when a PMC round did not go down range when I pulled the trigger. A second point is the excellent accuracy PMC brings to the table. It is not match grade ammo but accuracy good resulting in MOA accuracy out of a Colt National Match.

I now own four Vortex Strike Eagles 1-6 which are mounted on four different MSRs. In in 6.8 SPC, one 350 legend, one 5.56 with 16" barrel and one with 5.56 barrel 20 inch barrel. These are used for everything from targets, to ground hogs, to mule deer. I would get another one but I do not have another MSR. In short, really great scope and for the price it becomes a super great value.

Vortex OPMOD Strike Eagle Limited Edition 1-6x24mm Rifle Scope, 30mm Tube, Second Focal Plane (SFP)
Put this scope on a M4 which serves as a home defense weapon, coyete gun and deer rifle. At low power it is easy to put on target fast and longer range target are easily sighted on with six power. Glass is clear, adjustments clear and easy and eye relief is good. Highly recommend for the shooter that needs a scope for multiple uses at near to medium range.
