lacking chamfer
Written on Mar 07, 2024
Had a heck of a time trying to get this over the detent. A chamfer under the large diameter is kind of necessary to get the buffer to go smoothly over the detent, this doesn't have it. I think they skipped a step in the machining.

I have many pairs of these, and they are great. All aluminum, sturdy, and accurate.

It runs great!

This is my second build using this BCG. I have put hundreds of rounds through my current build, with zero failures. I had doubts about the pistol style extractor, but it still functions perfectly. I've used the AR style extractor BCG's and seen no advantage. My current build is an Aero EPC upper, and lower with this bolt and Their 7.5" thin profile barrel. It's a fine shooter, and I haven't any complaints.

Functions perfectly
Written on Feb 20, 2022
I purchased this for my Spike's 9mm build, and it worked great. I had doubts about the ruggedness of the pistol style extractor, but after thousands of rounds it functions as it should, and shows no real wear. I've built a couple AR45s' but have used the AR style extractors(for longevity) I'm not sure if it even matters though. So far this BCG paired up with a Veritas Tactical 5.5" barrel, in a AR Stoner pistol upper, it's running perfectly.

Two different versions of the same models?

Review for
Magpul Industries MBUS Pro Flip Up Sights
I'm not sure why there are two different sets of sights in the pictures. Which ones will you receive is a big ? There are the ones with "grooved" knobs, with the standard MagPul screw, and ones with "knurled" knobs, and a Phillip's head screw. Also the flip aperture on the knurled knob rear does not flip up tight to the stationary aperture, it seems cheap. The front with the "knurled" knob does not have the O-ring between the knob and body, making the post flop around, and turn with the knob. The knurled knob version is very chinsy, I wish we could specify which ones we would receive. Show me pictures of the both versions, then send me the crappy ones...

Best Lower Kit

Review for
Anderson Manufacturing Lower Parts Kit - Stainless Steel Hammer and Trigger - Retail Packaged
Of all the mil-spec, and "premium mil-spec" kits, everything is good, but Anderson's stainless trigger and hammer combo is by far the best out of the box trigger for less than $50. Even after having a bad set in my first one used, i'll still give it 5 stars. Everything is mil-spec, except for the fcg.
