Really dig this knife. Excellent quality, as expected from the Taichung Spyderco plant. It’s a big knife, but surprisingly small in the pocket. Super smooth deployment, but has a kinda soft detent, so you have to be deliberate when you deploy it. The flipper tab does pass by the compression lock as it closes, so there is a small learning curve to close at first. But when you get used to it, it’s fantastic. Very fun to fiddle with, either with the flipper, or doing the Spydie flick. Best thing about this knife is easily the ergonomics. Man does this knife feel good in the hand. Ergos are definitely A+.

Very good rings. High quality and excellent fit and finish. Love the idea of a set of rings coming with an integrated level. It takes some practice to read the level without lifting your head, but it definitely still works. You’d pay significantly more to get the bigger name rings and the upper half with the level, so this is a good deal.

I really didn't want to have to write a critical review, but I think I have to. I was very back and forth about whether to buy a Demo or New version of this scope, but after reading opticsplanet's description of Demo scopes, I felt more at ease, and I stood to save $100 or better... so I went the Demo route. Shipping was a little slow, but that really wasn't a factor in this. What was, however, was the condition of the scope when I received it. The description of Sig Demo optics leads you to believe the scope was simply cradled and ogled for awhile, then gently lain back in it's box, leaving no trace of handling. However, this scope came to me with more than one set of heavy ring marks, a large scratch on the bottom of the scope, no custom turret coupon, no wrenches, no lens cloth and no caps. The only things included were the box, the scope, a battery and a manual. When I took a closer look at the scope box, it in fact said USED... not Demo. Maybe they all say used, but this one was VERY used. Getting past all that, the scope itself is quite nice. Great glass, great controls, and nice styling. Feels like a very well built optic. The scope alone is the reason for the solitary star I gave it, raising the total to 2 stars. Bottom line... the scope was not worth the price I paid. In the end, I just couldn't get past all the things that had been overlooked when the scope was re-packaged. I turned to customer service in hopes that they would give me a reason to hold
