Optics planet gave me an excellent deal on an excellent scope. I figured with the sale price they were gonna give me I would roll the dice and give it a “shot” since I normally run NF and even a few Zeiss.
This scope is easily as comparable to my NF optics. If I had to pick one thing that could be a little better is that the clicks are not as tactile as I would like. I think they’re just a little bit mushy for me and my liking, other than that, it’s right on par with the quality of an ATACR without the weight.

I’m a huge Lapua fan. I run their brass whenever I can. First off, I really like the plastic boxes that used to come with it. They were handy for storing all kinds of shooting stuff. Now they come in a paper box with a paper case holder. IMO EVERYTHING is made cheaper nowadays. I believe that this brass is not quite as good as the brass I used to buy a decade ago. However, it is good brass and I will continue to run it. I have great luck with Lapua brass. I use it to run my subsonics with trail boss and my supersonics with 4064 and BLC2. You may want to inspect each piece for burrs, I found 3 that needed a lil attention out of my last batch. I do not shoot bench rest, but I am a precision shooter. Some guys are much more picky than I am. If I can keep my extreme spread under 20 fps and shoot half inch groups at 100 yard that’s good enough for me.
