worth every penny

Written on Oct 19, 2016

wish i had known about these product a long time ago.I'm a dinosaur and still love the look and feel of a leather holster- my only complaint in the past was "breaking" one in to facilitate pulling the weapon out and then re-holstering it. the speed draw compound solved that problem IMMEDIATELY. I had rubbed it into other holsters with my fingers, but with a wool dauber it is a simple and quick task. Two thumbs up.

gun cleaner

as with all boresnakes, this one does the job exactly as advertised. i own guns of assorted calibers and have boresnakes for each one. add a few drops of powder solvent and a few of copper cutter and youre done.

1911 holster

as a fossil, I still love the look and smell of leather; this item fits both. I purchased it for my Kimber Stainless Raptor ll, a full size 5" barrel 1911. it is a snug fit, but I rubbed it with a little of the Galco EZ Draw oil, and man is it great. Even though I have a CC license, there are plenty of times I want a weapon to be seen, especially a nice weapon.

Great for the price

I bought this item with a little skepticism because of the price, but any other products I own from Bushnell were good values, so I bought it anyway. Have now used it with 4 rifles and one pistol and makes the initial sighting in very easy. I first used it with a rifle that I knew was zeroed in just to check this item to see if it lived up to its claims, and it was within 1/2 moa of zero.

Leapers UTG Ergonomic Ambidextrous 5-position Foregrips

Written on Jun 07, 2016

The Leapers UTG Ergonomic Ambidextrous 5-position Foregrips is as good as advertised or better. Easily installed on my picatinny rail on the AR platform- improved my accuracy, and with the storage for my extra CR123 batteries in the grip will allow me to use the flashlight attached to the AR without fear of running out of juice. Two thumbs up!

Burris FastFire Reflex Red-Dot Sight Mounting Plates

as simple as it could possibly be. The most difficult part of the installation was driving out the dovetailed rear sight on my Glock 17- after that it was as simple as screwing the mounting plate to the slide.

everything was as advertised- the most difficult part to do was to drive the manufacturers rear dovetailed sight out of my Glock model 22. After that it was all downhill. total installation time was maybe 5 minutes. the night sights are exactly as advertised when it comes to increased visibility in low / no light. couldn't be any more pleased with this product

perfect fit, easy to install

the mount fit perfectly on my Ruger SR556 takedown rifle (comes with a pic rail on the rifle). easy to mount, and the sight mounts just as easily to the mount. sighting in was simple- i had already sighted the rifle in using its MBUS sights- raised the MBUS sights, adjusted the red dot while looking through the MBUS sight; loweres the MBUS sights, fired my first round- not only was I on paper, I only needed 2 other shots to be dead on. of course I had to go through another box of ammo, just to "make sure"- since I would need to clean it anyway, why not have some fun.
