Best method developed for handgaurd attatchment.

Written on May 08, 2018

The upper receiver, forged, has the interface for the handgaurd forged into itself. No leverage on barrel or barrel nut. Generous interior will fit some suppressors. Held on by torx screws. Very sturdy, anti rotation built in. Wont slip forward or back. I believe it includes barrel nut and wrench. Mine did.

Can be used left or right, front or back IWB. I carried this occasionally for CCW and every single time I went hunting or to the range. Especially noteworthy is that I carried this for 2 15 mile days of ooening weekends pheasant hunting in Goodland, KS all 4 years I owned it. It sits at the right height and never once came out. The pin is held to the carrier with a 1" zinc coated screw and sits inside the barrel about 1.5 inches. Yes this means it's obstructing the barrel, but unless you plan on giving yourself a new hole... as soon as you draw the barrel is obviously no longer obstructed. Comes with a trigger guard that can be changed for left/right. The pin fits the barrel snug but not tight. I, as does the manufacturer, recommend a drop of oil on the pin to help it when it's new. Also, pull straight up.when cleaning a gun you don't torque the rod to the side, right? This thing lasted years of abuse without issue until my marine buddy rotated his hand severely before trying to pull up, then kept tugging. It bent the screw holding the pin, but it did draw and the screw was easily replaced. I would also like to mention this was only and always carrying a full size, FNH-FNX40 with a full mag. I love and trust this product and will buy for my new CCW.
