Strike Industries Extended Bolt Catch
I use this ad replacement of new build all the time. It has a wide lever and can easily get a hold it of with gloves or otherwise. Matched with strike industries mag release and pins it really looks great for an economical price.

Browning X-Bolt 20 MOA Picatinny Rail
This rail is really solid and matches the lines of the Xbolt. It has enough rail to not impede mounting position of a longer scope. It looks to be made by Talley if that helps any. I would like to see a Zero MOA soon if possible.

weak spring

This flies back in your face when shot. Not good when you weren’t expecting it. I got a cut on my nose because of it. I think it’s well designed and just needs a strong spring like a mil-spec one. If this is fixed then I would buy it again

I highly recommend these for any upgrade or ground up build.
These are fantastic and use on all builds. Please ensure you have loc-tited the safety mechanism first.
I do wish you could flip these for left handed builds using right handed actions.

Review for
Magpul Industries MBUS 3 Front Rifle Sight
I like this better than previous. Seems to be an improved version. I like for these reasons:
1. It lays flatter
2. The sight guides are more vertical
3. Fairly easy adjustments
4. Release button is more streamlined
I wish the sight pin someone had an aftermarket sight for it but maybe just takes some time. I don’t shoot any open sights as primary so for now this works.

Kaw Valley Precision Linear Compensator
I have several of these in many sizes and they are my go to now for most of my builds since I use for hunting. Does exactly what it’s supposed to do in blowing all the gas and concussion forward instead of to the side.

As others have said this is not exactly FDE but blends well with a nice accent color to your FDE build. The color really could go well with a number of different platform options and grows on you. Glass is clear. Maybe. a little fish eye on the lower power.
Very Accurate out of a 16 and 18" Faxon Barrel

These shoot MOA out of AR Faxon barrels. I wanted something a little tougher than a standard varmint bullet for deer hunting. I will update after this fall and hopefully a few harvests. I am shooting Varget with this bullet.

Great Little Scope but be aware

Scope is clear and has typical Burris ruggedness built into it. The eyepiece though is large and will probably not fit on a low scope mount on a bolt action rifle. I put this on an AR so have no issues there.

If you can’t get the 123 gr eld Match to shoot try this one. It is a very different profile bullet and only has .020 BC less than the 123 grain version. I am shooting an Odin works 18” AR barrel. I also recommend that too!
