I own five of these tacos now. They are a god-send for the 9mm AR platform with Colt-style 32-round magazines (or Uzi magazines since those are virtually the same). I'm guessing they would work just as well for Glock style 33-round magazines but I don't have that platform. I know it's a bit spendy to buy one, or especially several, of these tacos but when you see how they perform when running or crawling or how easy they make it to carry these long awkward mags you'll be glad you made the purchase.

I bought this selector because it was inexpensive and it seemed like a good idea to have an ambidextrous option on my rifle (I'm not highly experienced with building weapons and I don't get a ton of range time). However for another rifle I purchased a short throw ambidextrous selector and having used both I understand completely the purposeful design of the short-throw option. With this symmetrical selector on my right hand the length of the lever interferes with my hand placement when I hold the pistol grip. That is slightly uncomfortable for short use but could be irritating or even blistering if I were to be shooting all day without gloves. I suggest you either go with a standard safety selector or decide to spend a bit more money and purchase an ambidextrous selector that has a short throw on the right side of the rifle. With all of that said this selector operates fine. It isn't manufactured poorly and the finish is nice too.

This little and lightweight holster grabs and holds my S&W 642 Airweight .38 Special very nicely. It gives you a satisfying "Click" when holstering or drawing the weapon. It doesn't pinch or or dig into me. I know that detail might be dependent on your build and carry position. I place it just right of my belt buckle and I'm 6' 2" tall and about 180 Lbs (and slightly big in the belly at the moment). When testing the fit of this holster to your weapon be sure you have the holster inside your waistband. If you do that it will fit great. If you just hold the holster in hand and try the revolver fit it will fit and grab. But in that case the fit is too loose. The holster is meant to have your body and waistband pressing on it from both sides to give it the ideal "grip" on your 642. I'm very happy with this purchase and I would definitely recommend it to others.

I bought this to just meet the bare minimum requirements for California's featureless build standards. For CA, when building featureless, I cannot have a flash-suppressor so I had to remove the "Birdcage" from my 9mm Rock River Arms upper and instead install either a muzzle brake or a thread protector. Finding a muzzle brake for a 9mm AR build is hard enough, because honestly who needs a muzzle brake on a 9mm (or any PCC AR build really), and finding one for an attractive price is even harder. I think I paid something like $8 for this muzzle brake so for sure I am satisfied with what I received for the price. However, make no mistake, this muzzle brake is not attractive. The melonite finish seems to have been very poorly rinsed after coming out of the chemical bath. There is a powdery yellow tint on the break surface in general. People looking for ways to make their rifle beautiful will not appreciate that. On the other hand the machining of the part is very well done and this muzzle break will absolutely perform according to what it was designed to accomplish. Further, mine did include a crush washer. I was delighted by that because the listing declared one would not be included. The break I received did not index perfectly onto my barrel, which is not the fault of whoever made this break, so I've ordered a set of shims to be able to complete the installation.

I'll start off by just saying I really like this handguard. I put one on my 762x39 AR. The finish is outstanding. The bonus of having two sections of Picatinny billet rail included is great. And installation is as simple as anything could ever be. I loved the handguard so much that I ordered a second one. The second one is where I found a little something to be concerned about but that is being addressed right now. On the second handguard I purchased I noticed the M-LOK slots on the six-O'Clock position of the handguard were machined oversized. They did not accept some of the Magpul M-LOK accessories. Well, more correctly, the accessories would fit into the slots but they wouldn't grab because the slots were slightly larger than they should have been. When I discovered the accessories wouldn't fit I examined the rail closer. That's when I saw that the machining was so oversized it was visible to the naked eye. Very oddly, every other section of slots around the circumfrence of the handguard was machined correctly. I can't imagine how this happened since I'm sure these are cut on a CNC machine. Nonetheless that was my situation. I didn't discover this until several weeks after having installed the handguard, at which point I had already discarded the box. Upon contacting customer service at OpticsPlanet I was referred to the manufacturer (VISM is apparently a division of the NC-Star company). A guy named Matt in customer service at NC-Star is working to get me a replacement ha

I'll come right out and admit it; I bought these specifically to dress up my AR. My standard take-down pins worked fine and this set works fine too. I just wanted something high-end to aesthetically tie-in to my nickel boron bolt carrier group and my nickel boron custom trigger. Just wanted to have the finishes on each of those tiny elements coordinate. ...if you're the superficial type like me these will satisfy you.

I have these installed on three of my AR builds. I'm a huge fan of the flexibility provided by the three connection points. For some reason the Optics Planet images for this part show only two connection points but in fact there are three connection points on this endplate. There is one on the left hand side lateral, one on the right hand side lateral oh, and there is one at the bottom of the end plate facing the rear stock of the gun. All three are QD anti rotation connection points. The only flaw that I can find to these and plates is they are not compatible with any of the "Featureless stock" designs I have found. The thickness of the bottom section of the endplate interferes with clearences when trying to install a "Featureless stock" such as those made in USA by Thorsten (any Gen, because I've used Gen.2 & Gen.3) or the German made by CQR.

I've purchased these for four of my rifles (I deliberately built all of mine with M-LOK configured handguards) and I've installed one at the forward most portion of each handguard. I use only Magpul MS4 Gen 2 slings with QD connection points. I love to have the freedom to swap from one rifle to the next without changing slings out and still knowing I can reliably connect my sling to every handguard. These work great for me and include the machining to allow for anti-rotation so the slings are less likely to get tangled/twisted.

I recently swapped out my Magpul polymer MBUIS Gen.2 flip-up sights for these solid Daniel Defense fixed sights. It is a little more money for these but to me it is a price worth paying. I have the DD front and rear sight matched set. No they're not as slick/fancy-tactical looking as the folded down Magpul sights with the one-finger action feature but hey, looks aren't everything and I trust these more in the event of a dropped rifle. I installed them on my 100% trust-worthy SHTF rifle (put the Magpul sights I removed onto my range toy 9mm PCC instead). The DD sights are of course standard height and co-wittness through my Aimpoint sight. They hug the rail tight and stay put. The radiused edges on the highest rising portions of these sights are also great since they don't snag on or cut into my clothes or my sling.
