Product Info for Dark Hour Defense Stainless Takedown/Pivot Pins

Heavy-duty forged 303 stainless steel takedown/pivot pins for AR15. Weighted at 14 grams total, these pins are much stronger than the standard pins. Ideal for hard usage, they can withstand hammering, wrenching, and cleaning. When installed in the lower receiver, the head of the pin goes into the receiver notch, clearing the gap for a spring-loaded disconnector spring. When the adjusting nut is turned over, the pin head remains in place, but still allows the user to move the pin with a slight twist. Once the adjusting nut is turned over, the extra metal remains in place, ready for the next user to use.image
