Unfinished clamp hardware

Review for
Centurion Arms Aimpoint Micro Red Dot Mount
The mount itself is immaculate. The bolt for fastening to pic rail is unfinished and ground with a belt sander or wheel, both sides, and not even consistent. Rough finish criss crossing each other. Still works but none to pleasant on the eyes

Great deal

If you want a daniel defense, this is a great deal at the right time with the right code. Even if you're not looking for a daniel defense but want a quality upper this is a fantastic price for well recognized quality. Fit and finish is perfect after you clean off the shipping ooze. There's no play at all on a zro delta ambi lower with the standard takedown pins so I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Based on my sample of 1, I'd definitely recommend this upper. You can basically wipe it down, toss your preferred sighting system on, slap it on a your lower and you are ready to go.

the right diameter

Ordered these 2 match some other stainless parts. They have a polished finish and look great. They also took all slop out of the receivers compared to the rattle with the pins included in the original parts kit.

perfect finish
Written on Aug 12, 2023
The machining on the one I received is immaculate inside and out with a very smooth, even finish. No marks to be found. It's logoed nla and not the gear logo shown. It's always nice to find a bolt carrier that has attention to detail on all surfaces and not just the functional ones. Does it matter? No. Does it make me irrationally feel like it's a better bolt carrier? Yes.

Be prepared
Written on Jun 16, 2023
It is indeed amazingly light and a beautiful chunk of aluminum. Being left handed and the fact that the dust cover on left eject uppers opens upwards instead of down really limits optic mounting options. This one right here is the thinnest, least interference you can possibly get. Looks fantastic too. But as the title says, be prepared. It does twist the scope to the right every time you torque the rings. It is a mind numbing task to guess how much offset to the left you need to end up level at torque. There's gonna be a lot of too little too much until finally lucky perfection. If you want a great looking ultralight mount that the scope will stay in for a long time it's definitely worth the effort. If you plan to change scopes a lot using the same mount I'd stick with top fastened ring mounts for ease of leveling.
