I bought this for my home defense Glock G45 9mm - it fits and forms PERFECTLY to it! Installation is fairly straight forward, just being careful not to lose the allen screws and not over-torque the assembly to the frame. This light is dead-secure; it does not move a fraction of a millimeter, and it really contributes to the balance of my Glock that was already well-balanced to begin with. The light is plenty bright for nighttime engagement, and the laser sight is very easily adjustable and stable during fire - maybe a little too sensitive to windage and height adjustments (a little turn does go a long way on the adjustment screws). Streamlight really designed this well; it looks like it was custom made for Glock pistols and blends right into the frame.
I used this for installing a set of Ameriglo I-Dot night sights with excellent results. These are designed for angled sights, but they worked well for the shape of the Ameriglo rear. No damage to either slide or sight even though the Ameriglo was a bit snug - this gave me so much price of mind and took out the anxiety of damaging my new G45! I could have paid a gunsmith fit them, but frankly I wanted to cut out the middleman and know my sights were done properly myself- using a drift punch on would not have worked out well. This sight tool cost a bit of money, but it is SO worth the precision and piece of mind - not to mention future-proofing my Glock in case I want to swap sights at some point again, and making precise sight adjustments. Doesn’t hurt either that it comes with a front sight tool and punch, too! Be aware this is only for angled rear sights - there’s a separate model for straight-side sights; kind of wished they would include both straight and angled pusher jaws in the kit, but it is what it is and worked for what I needed.
Just installed these in my G45 9mm with the orange front dot. Good glow from the tritium vials in low light, and bright contrast from the orange in day - so much better than stock. Two caveats for installation: have the right tool for the rear sight and use a set of calipers for measuring depth. The front sight is just a fraction a millimeter smaller than stock in the front sight hole of the slide which can make you install it crooked if not careful- using digital calipers and some patience I got them dead-square on the slide and tightened it down with some threadocker. For the rear sight I used a dedicated Glock rear sight pusher tool and used the calipers to get it where I needed it. I do not recommend using anything else since these go into the rear dovetail faily snug - though I had no issues or damage once in.
